Party Like A Rock Star

Zoe and Lola at their first concert! Aunt Jenny and I took the girls to see Aly & AJ. They had such a great time and if it hadn't been 103 outside I'm sure it would of been even better. We had really great seats and for a crowd of 6,000 6-12 year olds the concert was really pretty awesome. They did a really fabulous job and the bass player was great. Aunt Jenny and I rocked along with all the little girls!

The concert was at Six Flags on the hottest day of the year! The girls were troopers and Zoe is now tall enough to ride some of the bigger roller coasters.

Lola picked up a little 'East St. Louis'

We ended our trip with a stop to the Butterfly House. I could spend all day there except for it is extremly humid! We loved watching all the different butterflies!

We took the girls fishing today. We only caught frogs!

It was super hot this week! So while I was cleaning my car out I filled up two storage tubs with water and let the girls play. They played in those tubs for about 3 hours! When I was a little girl my mammy would fill up her old wash tub and let me play in it. It is one of my treasured memories.
